UPNVJ's FIKES Faculty is Ready to Welcome the Odd Semester of 2025/2026: Additional Study Programs, International Students, and Strengthening Academic Integrity

FIKES UPNVJ – Depok, August 4, 2025 — The Faculty of Health Sciences, Veteran National Development University, Jakarta, held a meeting regarding Preparation for Odd Semester Classes for the 2025/2026 Academic Year, held online via Zoom Meeting at 10:00 a.m. WIB.

The event was attended by the Dean of FIKES UPNVJ, Desmawati, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat., Ph.D.; the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Rita Ismail, S.Kp., M.K.M, MTD (HE), Ph.D.; the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Agustiyawan, S.ST.FT., M.Fis., Ftr., AIFO; the Head of the UPNVJ Learning Development Center, Dr. Arief Wahyudi J., M.Kep., M.Pd.Ked, and the Learning Development Team; The Head of the Nursing Department, Ns. Cut Sarida Pompey, S.Kep., M.N.S; the Head of the Public Health, Physiotherapy, and Nutrition Department, Dr. Sri Yani, SST.FT., Ftr., M.Si; the department secretary, study program coordinators, lecturers, and educational staff from the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UPNVJ.

During the meeting, the Dean of FIKES, Desmawati, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat., Ph.D., stated that classes will begin on August 19, 2025, and that FIKES currently hosts nine active study programs, including the addition of a Master of Nursing (S2) Program. FIKES will also welcome three international students to the Nutrition, Public Health, and Nursing programs, with full and partial scholarships.

The PKKMB will take place on August 11–12 (Istora Senayan) and August 13–14 (Parung Campus).
KRS (Course Plan) filling: August 14–15, 2025.
PA Guidance: August 1–15, 2025. Lecturers are required to lock the KRS at least one day before filling.
KRS revision: August 25, 2025.
Joint Holiday: August 18, 2025.
Academic Leave: Application deadline: August 15, 2025.

Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES), Rita Ismail, S.Kp., M.K.M, MTD (HE), Ph.D., emphasized the importance of synchronizing CPL–CPMK–Sub CPMK in the RPS uploaded to SIMPEL, as well as promoting integrity in research and community service (Abdimas) activities, which have now reached the 30% target. All lecturers are scheduled to teach with a maximum load of 12 credits, including civil servant (CPNS) lecturers who are actively teaching. The learning process will utilize a Project-Based Learning and Case-Based Method approach, and online learning documentation must be uploaded to the UPNVJ Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) website/YouTube channel.

To support the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education), FIKES will also welcome Dr. Ismah (August–December 2025) who will support the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (Three Pillars of Higher Education) activities: education, research, and community service.
