PSKMPM Melakukan Kunjungan Akademik Ke Direktorat Jenderal Anggaran Kementerian Keuangan RI"Konsep Pembiayaan Kesehatan Yang Bersumber dari APBN dan APBD"

FIKES UPNVJ - In an effort to deepen their understanding of fiscal policy and the health sector financing system in Indonesia, students of the Master of Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta (PSKMPM FIKES UPNVJ) conducted an academic visit to the Directorate General of Budget, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia on Friday, October 24, 2025. This activity carried the theme of the concept of health financing sourced from the APBN and APBD with the aim of providing students with direct insight into how the central and regional governments design and allocate budgets for the health sector effectively and sustainably. In his remarks, Irwan Sujarwo Sianipar, Young Expert State Financial Analyst for Health at the Directorate General of Budget, Irwan Sujarwo Sianipar S.E., M. Pub. Pol. explained that sustainable health financing is one of the main priorities in the APBN. He emphasized the importance of synergy between the central and regional governments so that health funds from the APBN and APBD can be used optimally to improve access and quality of public health services. Students also received an explanation of the health budget preparation process, including integration between the central and regional governments, the integration of the roles of stakeholders related to the health sector, and strategies and fiscal support for health spending financing to support the National Health Insurance (JKN) program and improve health facilities in various regions.

Assisting lecturer, Prof. Dr. A. Heri Iswanto, SKM, MARS, stated that this visit served as a practical learning experience, enabling students to not only understand the theory of public policy and health economics but also the reality of their implementation in the field. "Through this visit, students can see firsthand how fiscal policy is translated into operational policies that have a real impact on the community," he said.

The activity concluded with an interactive discussion session and a group photo session between students, their supervising lecturer, and officials from the Directorate General of Budget, Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. It is hoped that through this activity, students in the Master of Public Health Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, Veterans National Development University, Jakarta, can further strengthen their spirit of national defense in academics by contributing critical thinking to national health financing policies.
