This socialization aimed to strengthen the academic community's understanding of the importance of integrity in education, research, and community service. In her presentation, Sri Lestari emphasized that researcher integrity is crucial for the quality and validity of the scientific work produced. Scientific work is not merely a technical result, but a reflection of academic responsibility that upholds ethics and scientific truth.

Furthermore, she explained that academic integrity has been regulated nationally and is a crucial issue in higher education. UPNVJ has established Rector's Regulation (Pertor) No. 16 of 2024 concerning Academic Integrity and Pertor No. 10 of 2022 as the legal basis governing principles, violations, and sanctions in the academic realm.

The activity also shared a link to the Academic Integrity Perception Survey, accessible at https://bit.ly/IntegritasAkademikUPNVJ, as part of an effort to map the understanding and perceptions of the campus community regarding this issue.

It was also emphasized that 13 campuses in Indonesia have currently fallen into the academic integrity violation zone, necessitating collective awareness to prevent similar incidents within UPNVJ.

Some forms of academic integrity violations discussed in this socialization include:

Fabrication: creating false/fictional research data or information.
Falsification: fabricating or manipulating data/information in research.
Plagiarism: using someone else's work in whole or in part without citing the source.
Illegitimate authorship: listing one's name as an author without contributing, omitting the names of contributors, or having others produce scientific work.
Conflict of interest: producing scientific work that favors a particular interest without transparency.
Multiple submissions: submitting a single scientific paper to more than one venue simultaneously without prior notification.
Through this activity, the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of UPNVJ affirms its commitment to maintaining academic quality by building a culture of honesty, transparency, and responsibility on campus. The implementation of academic integrity is a key foundation for achieving institutional excellence and public trust in UPNVJ as a credible higher education institution. With the readiness of the academic system, integrity governance, and enthusiasm from the entire academic community, FIKES UPNVJ is optimistic about welcoming the new semester with a spirit of professionalism, collaboration, and accountability.
