SISTER Data Update Socialization from the UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Personnel Working Team

FIKES UPNVJ - Depok, July 25, 2025 - The Faculty of Health Sciences of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (FIKES UPNVJ) held a discussion regarding the update of the Integrated Resource Information System (SISTER) which took place online on a zoom meeting at 15.00 WIB. The activity was attended by the Dean of FIKES UPNVJ, Desmawati, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat., PhD; Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Rita Ismail, S.Kp, M.K.M, MTD (HE), Ph.D; Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Sugianto, SE., MM; Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation, and Information Systems, Agustiyawan, S.ST.FT., M.Fis., Ftr. AIFO; Head of the Nursing Department, Ns. Cut Sarida Pompey, S.Kep., M.N.S; The Head of the Department of Public Health, Physiotherapy, and Nutrition, Dr. Sri Yani, SST.FT., Ftr., MSi; the Coordinator of Educational Personnel at the UPN Personnel Bureau, Dio Aris Setiawan, S.Kom., M.M.; along with the Department Secretary, study program coordinators, and lecturers from the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UPNVJ.

The event was opened by the Dean of FIKES at UPNVJ, followed by a discussion and question-and-answer session. The main speaker was Dio Aris Setiawan, S.Kom., M.M., the Coordinator of Educational Personnel at the UPN Personnel Bureau. The discussion was lively, covering the issues and challenges experienced by FIKES lecturers at UPNVJ in updating SISTER. SISTER is an official platform from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) designed specifically for lecturers at Indonesian universities. SISTER is crucial because it serves as a platform for lecturers to summarize their performance data, enabling them to maintain a strong portfolio and systematically monitor their performance. The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UPNVJ, Dr. Desmawati, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat., PhD, stated that this platform will support one of the university's key performance indicators (IKU) in point 3, which relates to lecturers' off-campus activities. The SISTER platform is managed by the staff of each State University (PTN), with each point within SISTER integrated with other related institutions. For example, teaching is linked to the academic division; community service and research are linked to the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM); and student guidance activities are linked to student affairs. This data will then be integrated within SISTER to form a lecturer performance portfolio.

However, due to the current updates to SISTER, there is a need for outreach and discussions so that lecturers, especially those in the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) at UPNVJ, can properly prepare the necessary documents for the updates. This ensures that all lecturer activities, especially those outside the campus, are properly recorded, validated, and recognized by the system.
The Dean of FIKES at UPNVJ, Dr. Desmawati, S.Kp., M.Kep., Sp.Mat., PhD, stated that most FIKES lecturers have activities outside the UPNVJ campus that should be recognized through SISTER. However, FIKES lecturers encountered several obstacles in updating SISTER, including the failure to include data on lecturer activities, such as teaching and community service activities outside UPNVJ. This is likely due to the administrator's reluctance to input UPNVJ lecturer data, as it could impact accreditation, while lecturers are unable to enter it manually. Therefore, Dio Aris Setiawan, S.Kom., M.M., Coordinator of Educational Personnel at the UPN Personnel Bureau, recommended that lecturers prepare the necessary documents, including assignment letters from the faculty or decrees, which can then serve as the basis for input. The first stage of data input is carried out by the UPNVJ feeder admin, who then integrates the data into the UPNVJ lecturer SISTER system. In addition to teaching, FIKES lecturers can also enrich their activities by serving as journal editors as a form of service. Independent activities, such as business ventures or internships at health institutions, can also be crucial in supporting IKU 3. It's crucial to ensure the performance withdrawal date aligns with the activity's duration.

The activities of FIKES UPNVJ lecturers are recognized at the international level, such as conducting international publications, becoming a resource person abroad or teaching at overseas campuses. There also needs to be a recognition mechanism that can support IKU 3 and IKU 5. It is hoped that the policies and mechanisms that are running can be a means for lecturers, especially FIKES UPNVJ, to be able to complement all activities that have been carried out at SISTER well, so that it can have a positive impact on all FIKES UPNVJ academics.
