
FIKES UPNVJ - The Physiotherapy Department, Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES), Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta, held a Preceptorship and Clinical Educator (CE) Training for Physiotherapy Clinical Supervisors on June 11–12, 2025. This training was held offline at FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, and was attended by physiotherapy lecturers and clinical educators from various partner institutions.
This training is a collaboration between the Indonesian Physiotherapy Higher Education Association (APTIFI) and the Physiotherapy Department, FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, as part of an effort to improve the quality of clinical learning for UPN "Veteran" Jakarta physiotherapy students. This training aims to equip clinical supervisors with the competencies needed to carry out their roles effectively and professionally. The resource persons for this training were Ms. Wahyuni, SKM, M.Kes, and Ms. Muthiah Munawwarah, S.ST.FT., M.Fis. The training materials covered clinical practice assessment and evaluation, clinical learning, preceptorship models in clinical education, clinical learning, and more.
Training participants included lecturers from the Physiotherapy Department at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta and Clinical Educators (CEs) from various practice settings, such as hospitals, clinics, and sports clubs.
The presence of participants from diverse practice backgrounds enriched discussions and encouraged synergy between academia and healthcare services. Through this training, clinical instructors are expected to optimally fulfill their preceptor/Clinical Educator (CE) roles, enabling physiotherapy students to achieve the required clinical competencies and prepare them for the workplace as healthcare professionals.
