FIKES UPNVJ - Jakarta, July 8, 2025 – The Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta (UPNVJ), is holding an Internal Internship Program for Prospective Civil Servants (CPNS) in 2025, as part of the orientation process and work capacity building process. This internship focuses on Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation, a strategic pillar in supporting the quality of higher education services based on integrity and superior performance.
This six-month program involves all new CPNS who have passed the agency's induction stage. They are directly deployed to familiarize themselves with, understand, and actively participate in various administrative activities, student services, alumni needs mapping, and exploring external collaborations with strategic campus partners both domestically and internationally.
According to Agustiyawan, Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, and Cooperation at the Faculty of Health Sciences, this internship program is not merely technical training, but rather a means to develop the character of ASN who are responsive, collaborative, and have a broad perspective on public service. "Student affairs and alumni are the face of the university in the public eye. Through this internship, civil servant candidates (CPNS) are trained not only to understand procedures but also to build productive and solution-oriented relationships," he explained.
Throughout the program, participants receive direct guidance from the student affairs and collaboration team and are required to prepare evaluation reports and recommendations for improvements to the service system. This activity also includes assistance in managing student activities, mapping alumni tracer studies, and simulating the preparation of collaboration documents with external parties.
In addition to technical aspects, civil servant candidates are also provided with training on bureaucratic ethics, a superior work culture, and the principles of good governance in the academic environment. It is hoped that after participating in this internship, civil servant candidates will not only understand the workflow but also be able to innovate and actively contribute to improving the quality of academic services and strategic partnerships within the faculty.
Through this internship program, the UPNVJ Faculty of Health Sciences affirms its commitment to developing professional, adaptive, and broad-minded civil servants. This activity also forms part of the strategy for developing superior human resources ready to support the achievement of UPNVJ's vision as a world-class national defense campus.(AGT)
