Online Audience with Depok City Health Office: Preparation for Field Learning Experience for Public Health Undergraduate Students

FIKES UPNVJ - The Public Health Undergraduate Study Program held a Field Learning Experience (PBL) Preparation Audience Meeting with the Depok City Health Office on Monday, June 2, 2025. This activity is part of the preparation for the implementation of the Field Learning Experience (PBL) for semester VI students which will be held in July 2025.

The audience, which was held via the Zoom virtual platform, was led by the Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, and was attended by the Coordinator of the Public Health Undergraduate Study Program, Secretary of the Study Program, PBL Coordinator, PBL Secretary and 6 representatives from the Depok City Health Office. In the initial session, the Study Program Coordinator conveyed an overview of the PBL implementation plan in 2025, as well as the planned PBL location which will be focused on the Depok City Health Office work area. Followed by a technical explanation by the PBL Coordinator regarding the implementation mechanism, division of student groups, and the form of activities that will be carried out in the field. The discussion took place actively between the institution and the Depok City Health Office. Representatives from the Health Office welcomed the plan and provided input regarding the implementation of PBL, including the importance of synergy between students and local health workers in implementing health programs in the community. Through this audience, it is hoped that close cooperation will be established between educational institutions and local governments in supporting applicable contextual learning and making a real contribution to improving the health of the community.
