FIKES UPNVJ - The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) has implemented the Faculty of Health Science (FOHS) Project 2025 with the theme "SYMPHONY: From Roots of Dedication to Horizons of Innovation," which began on October 4, 2025. The FOHS Project is a festival held to celebrate the anniversary of the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. It consists of various activities, such as the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony, mentoring class sessions, and national-level webinars. It also includes several academic competitions for both internal and external participants of the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
The Faculty of Health Science (FOHS) Project 2025 began with the Opening Ceremony and the Self-Upgrading Class (SUCA) activities, held online via Zoom Meeting, attended by students from various study programs. SUCA activities serve as a self-development platform aimed at honing students' academic skills while encouraging a spirit of achievement and competition. SUCA is designed as an interactive mentoring class that provides technical and strategic training to students in three topics: essay writing, poster design, and public speaking for English speech competitions. This class is led by experienced mentors who not only provide in-depth material but also actively engage in discussions during the Q&A session. The outcome of this activity is to produce students who are better prepared and motivated to participate and achieve in various academic competitions.
As part of the Faculty of Health Science (FOHS) Project series, a National Webinar was held on October 18, 2025, via the Zoom Meeting platform. The theme of this event was "Harmonious Health Collaboration in the Digital Era," featuring Prof. Dra. Yayi Suryo Prabandari, M.Sc., Ph.D., as the keynote speaker, presenting "Digital Transformation in Global Health." Also present was Speaker I, Prof. apt. Didik Setiawan, M.Sc., Ph.D. with the topic "Digital Innovation for Cross-Sector Collaboration in the Indonesian Health System," and Speaker 2, Agustiawan SST. M. FIS., FTR, AIFO., with the topic "Building Synergies Between Students and Academics in the Digital Health Ecosystem." The aim of this activity was to increase participants' understanding and awareness of the importance of cross-sector collaboration in the health sector, particularly in utilizing digital technology as an innovation to improve the quality of healthcare services. Furthermore, this webinar also provided a forum for students, academics, and healthcare practitioners to exchange knowledge and insights on addressing the challenges and opportunities of the digital era.
On October 21, 2025, the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta, officially concluded the Faculty of Health Science (FOHS) Project 2025 series, which also marked the culmination of the 18th anniversary celebration of FIKES. The closing ceremony was warm and filled with gratitude, with the cutting of a tumpeng (rice cone) as a symbol of hope for FIKES's continued growth and contribution to society.
The excitement was further enhanced by performances by the UPNVJ student band and the FIKES student family, showcasing the students' spirit of togetherness and creativity. The FOHS Project 2025 is a form of collaboration between the entire FIKES UPNVJ academic community in commemorating the 18th anniversary of the faculty's journey towards a brighter future.
