HIMFIS: Mahasiswa Goes To Abroad “Empowering Future Physiotherapists Through Global Exposure” (MGTAB TM 4)

FIKES UPNVJ – The Student Goes to Abroad Webinar series, organized by the Diploma Three Program Physiotherapy Student Association and the Undergraduate Program Physiotherapy Student Association of the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, was held online via Zoom on Saturday, September 27, 2025, with the theme "Empowering Future Physiotherapists through Global Exposure."

The 2025 Student Goes to Abroad Webinar is a program organized by the Student Resource Development Department and the Academic Department. It aims to provide comprehensive and accurate information regarding various study opportunities, internships, and physiotherapy student exchange programs abroad. This information includes available scholarships and application procedures, enabling students to better prepare. Furthermore, the program aims to broaden students' perspectives on global physiotherapy developments and the importance of adapting to international standards in modern physiotherapy practice. By providing international insights and experiences, this program is expected to encourage physiotherapy students to take bold steps to develop their potential and build superior competencies at the global level. The program was conducted as an online webinar via Zoom Meeting.

On Saturday, September 27, 2025, the event took place online via Zoom Meeting from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. WIB. Approximately 141 participants from various institutions attended. This activity was guided by Aggista Adelia Putri as the MC who is an Active Physiotherapy Student of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN “Veteran” Jakarta, class of 2024 and Annisa Salsabila as the MC who is an Active Physiotherapy Student of the Undergraduate Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN “Veteran” Jakarta, class of 2024. Then this activity began with an opening by the MC, singing the Indonesian National Anthem and the National Defense March, then remarks by the Chairperson of the Executive Committee, Mumtaza Putri Difalla, remarks by the Deputy Chairperson of the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Undergraduate Program, Dinda Farhani and remarks by the Chairperson of the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Program, Nadira Secionova Putri M., then remarks by the Head of the D3 Physiotherapy Department, Mona Oktarina, S.Ft., Ftr., M.Biomed, then remarks by the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Cooperation Agustiyawan, SST.FT., M.Fis.,Ftr., AIFO, followed by a documentation session, then continued with the delivery of material The opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Yohanes Purwanto, S.Psi, Ftr, PhD (Cand). The event concluded with a question-and-answer session and the presentation of certificates to the speakers by the MC.

The purpose of the Student Goes to Abroad Webinar is to broaden the Physiotherapy Study Program, specifically the Diploma Three Physiotherapy Program at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, as a platform for health promotion. It also provides participants with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the program and provide education, motivation, and practical guidance for the entire academic community aspiring to pursue an international education. Through interactive sessions with alumni and current students who have experience studying abroad, participants will gain in-depth insights into the application process, scholarship strategies, and tips for adapting to a global environment. This webinar is expected to be the first step in broadening UPNVJ students' horizons in exploring the world and taking on a strategic role as ambassadors for a globally competitive nation. The conclusion of the 2025 Student Goes to Abroad Webinar will be publicized on the social media platforms of the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Physiotherapy Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
