The first visit, the FIKES Mengabdi 2025 Socialization, took place on June 26, 2025. The FIKES Mengabdi team conducted a Socialization of the FIKES Mengabdi Program with stakeholders and the community of Simpak Village. During this activity, the team explained the program's timeline and outlined the programs to be implemented: Composting, Ecoprint, Waste Bank, Aromatherapy Candles, Education, and CEKATAN (Health Check and Donor Response Action). Following the presentations, the team distributed evaluation forms to the community to gauge their understanding and interest in the programs.

The second visit took place from August 3–9, 2025. The official opening ceremony for FIKES Mengabdi was held on August 4, 2025. This event served as the initial momentum for introducing the FIKES Mengabdi 2025 program series. The opening ceremony was attended by lecturers and representatives from the student affairs division of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, the sub-district and village officials, and the community of Kampung Simpak. The series of activities began with remarks from the campus, expressing appreciation for the students' initiative in community service. This was followed by remarks from the sub-district and village officials, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between students and the community in realizing mutual benefits. Through this opening ceremony, the community gained an overview of the main programs that will be implemented in August, including environmental management and processing training, fitness training, a composting program, an ecoprinting program, and education for preschool children.

The composting activity began with a material outreach session in collaboration with the Taman Lontar Waste Bank, which explained the basic concepts, benefits, and steps of composting. This was followed by a hands-on experience in processing organic waste using the Takakura method, where participants learned how to sort, chop, mix, and stir the materials to produce high-quality compost. Next, the team conducted the initial Ecoprinting phase: scouring the fabric with a solution of hot water and soda ash. This 30-minute boiling process, followed by rinsing, prepares the fabric for natural dye absorption during the dyeing process. Mordanting is then performed by soaking the fabric in a binding agent such as alum or iron salts for 30–60 minutes, rinsing, and drying in the shade. Next, the residents of Simpak Village participated in the ecoprint pounding exercise, printing leaf and flower motifs onto 34 tote bags using wooden mallets.

The educational outreach program for early childhood education (PAUD) children was conducted over three days, with different topics each day: balanced nutrition under the theme "Fill My Plate Full of Color," dental health under the theme "Healthy Teeth, Cheerful Smile," and environmental awareness under the theme "I'm a Great Child, Know Your Types of Waste!" In addition to outreach, the FIKES Mengabdi committee also held community outreach and social interaction with the Simpak Village community, which included morning and afternoon exercise sessions, games, and assistance with daily activities such as harvesting rice, bathing buffalo, and caring for animals.

The third visit took place from September 7–12, 2025. This activity began with the formation of the Simpak Village Waste Bank Community. During the process, the FIKES Mengabdi team, along with local residents, held discussions to appoint several representatives to serve as waste bank administrators. The established management structure consists of a chairperson, secretary, treasurer, a sorting and collection division, and a waste processing division. After the election, the names of the administrators were determined, which were then finalized and ratified through a Decree (SK) from the village head so that they have legality and a clear basis for carrying out the activities of the Simpak Village Waste Bank.
