FIKES UPNVJ - In Commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1446 H, the 'Kurban With HMKM 2025' Event was Successfully Held On Friday, June 6, 2025, the "Kurban With HMKM 2025" activity was conducted at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, Pondok Labu Campus. This event was organized by the Public Health Student Association (HMKM) in collaboration with LDK Uswah UPNVJ. The initiative commenced with a fundraising campaign involving students, lecturers, and academic community members from May 13 to June 4, 2025. The campaign successfully collected Rp4,650,008, which was utilized to purchase one sacrificial goat. The animal sacrifice was performed on campus grounds during the event day.
The sacrificial animal was dedicated in the name of Tania Pisarani Putri, an undergraduate Public Health student from the 2024 cohort, who met all selection criteria established by the organizing committee. Following the slaughtering process, the meat was carefully packaged and directly distributed by the committee to underprivileged communities, particularly residents near the Limo Campus area. In accordance with Islamic tradition, one-third of the meat was also given to Tania.
This event served as a meaningful platform to cultivate gratitude, empathy, and mutual cooperation among students. "Kurban With HMKM 2025" embodied the Islamic values of social responsibility and inter-organizational collaboration. The committee aspires for this initiative to become a sustainable annual program with expanded outreach in subsequent years.
