FIKES UPNVJ - Depok, July 11, 2025 – The Nursing Department, Faculty of Health Sciences, National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta (FIKES UPNVJ), held a Management Review Meeting on Friday, July 11, 2025, at the Tanah Airku Hall. Thirty-two participants attended, including department and program administrators, as well as lecturers from the nursing department at FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. The main agenda of the meeting was an evaluation of the even semester of the 2024/2025 academic year and preparation for classes for the odd semester of the 2025/2026 academic year. The meeting was chaired by the Head of the Nursing Department, Ns. Cut Sarida Pompey, S.Kep., M.N.S., and served as a coordinating forum between department heads, study program coordinators, and lecturers to align academic perceptions and strategies across educational levels.
Evaluation of Learning for the Even Semester of 2024/2025
Each study program coordinator, from the Diploma 3 Nursing Program, Bachelor of Nursing Program, Professional Nursing Education Program, to Master of Nursing Program, presented their achievements and challenges during the previous semester. The evaluation covered progress on completing SIMPEL (Student-Based Learning) programs, clinical practice implementation, CBT competency test tryout results, progress on completing the EDOM (Educational and Social Work Assessment) program, and completion of grades and SPPD (Student-Based Learning Outcomes) for supervising lecturers.
Preparation for the Odd Semester of 2025/2026
In the upcoming odd semester, learning activities will begin on August 18, 2025, and all levels have prepared lecturer plans, curriculum documents, and OSCE schedules. This semester will also mark the start of international classes in the Undergraduate Nursing Program, attended by both international and Indonesian students in a bilingual format. This program is part of the nursing department's internationalization efforts and is supported by lecturers who have returned from further studies abroad. The curriculum used is the 2024 Curriculum, an update of the 2021 Curriculum, aligned with the National Association of Indonesian Nurses (APNI) policy and Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Regulation No. 53 of 2023. Several courses will use a blended approach, and instructors will be directed to participate in blended learning training provided by the university. Specifically for the Nursing Professional Program, standards for guidance minutes and examinations, as well as other documentation, were also discussed. A comprehensive OSCE assessment based on national standards has also been scheduled for final-year students in the diploma three nursing program and the Nursing Professional program from July 23–30, 2025.
