Sports and Arts Week (Porseni) with the theme "Burn The Limits: Expanding Possibilities, Breaking Boundaries"

FIKES UPNVJ - The Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Health Sciences has carried out the Sports and Arts Week (Porseni) with the theme "Burn The Limits: Expanding Possibilities, Breaking Boundaries" which began on May 21, 2025, starting with the Grand Opening activity via the Zoom Meeting platform, in the presentation session the timeline of the activity was also explained. Various competitions were held on the campus of the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.

The Sports and Arts Week (Porseni) activity is an annual program that is a forum for students to channel their interests and talents in the fields of sports and arts. This year, the activity was carried out with a wider scope through two competition categories, namely internal competitions and external competitions. Internal competitions are competitions intended for students from within the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, which consist of various study programs such as S1 Public Health, S1 Nutrition, S1 Nursing, D3 Nursing, S1 Physiotherapy and D3 Physiotherapy. The External Competition is intended for participants outside the Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta from high school to college levels.

The series of Sports and Arts Week (Porseni) activities were officially closed on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 and were held at the Tanah Airku Auditorium, 5th floor, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta campus and attended by faculty leaders, representatives of student organizations, competition participants, and UPN "Veteran" Jakarta students. The closing ceremony was marked by an opening by the MC, singing the Indonesia Raya song, singing the National Defense March song, remarks by the Chief Executive, remarks by the Chairperson of the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, remarks by the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, documentation of the event, announcement of competition winners and prize giving, performances by the solo vocal winners and then the closing of the event by the MC. The prizes were given directly by the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, the Chief Executive and also the Vice Chief Executive of Porseni 2025.

For more than two weeks, Porseni 2025 has become a forum for students to channel their interests and talents in sports and arts, both through internal competitions participated by students from various study programs in the Faculty of Health Sciences, as well as external competitions opened to participants from outside the faculty, from high school to college level.

Some of the fields competed in this activity are internal competitions such as badminton, volleyball and solo vocals with a competition period from May 31, 2025 to June 4, 2025. External competitions such as futsal, basketball, Mobile Legends and traditional dance with a competition period from May 24, 2025 to June 4, 2025.

The competition is held online and offline with competitions held online such as Mobile Legends while for solo vocal and traditional dance competitions are carried out in the form of video submissions which are assessed by a panel of judges within a predetermined time frame. Meanwhile, sports competitions such as futsal, basketball, volleyball, and badminton are held directly both inside and outside the UPN “Veteran” Jakarta campus environment. (ADP/LNK)
