FIKES UPNVJ - The Nurses Serve activity was held by the Nursing Study Program Student Association (HM-PSIK) at the Faculty of Health Sciences UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. The activity took place from 06.30-12.00 WIB on Sunday, June 1, 2025 with the theme "Improving Public Health through a Preventive Approach". This activity was attended by Nursing undergraduate students from Class of 2023, 2024, and Supervisors, as well as the Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni, & Cooperation. The purpose of this event is to improve the knowledge and skills of Nursing Study Program Undergraduate Program Students to be able to facilitate the community so that they can feel the presence of quality health services and create a sense of pride in the nursing profession.
This activity began with the registration of the committee and volunteers, a briefing before leaving for the service location, continued with briefings from the supervising lecturer, preparation per group, door-to-door health checks, continued with health education, and finally a group photo session.
By holding the Nurses Serve 1.0 activity, it is hoped that it will be the beginning for students of the Undergraduate Nursing Study Program regarding the importance of health education for the general public and caring about the importance of health during the learning process at the National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta.
