FIKES UPNVJ – A series of activities for the Foster Village 3 event organized by the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN “Veteran” Jakarta, was held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, which was held offline at RW.03 Bedahan Village, Sawangan District with the theme “Holistic Approach to Physiotherapy for Diabetes, Hypertension and Heart Disease”.
The 2025 Foster Village 3 activity is one of the work programs held by the Department of Social Affairs which aims to improve community health and mobility through empowerment. The activity is carried out in the form of counseling by serving the community.
On Saturday, May 31, 2025, the activity took place offline at RW.03 Bedahan Village, Sawangan District. The event started at 08.30 – 11.45 WIB. This activity was attended by 30 elderly people from RW.03 Bedahan Village, Sawangan District. This activity was hosted by Destin Aprilia and Syahira Maharani, as the MCs who are Active Physiotherapy Students of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, class of 2024. Then this activity began with an opening by the MC, singing the song Indonesia Raya and the National Defense March, remarks by the Chief Executive, remarks by the Chairperson of the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program, remarks by the Representative of RW.03 Cadres, Bedahan Village. After that, it was continued with filling in the pre-test, presentation of materials, filling in the post-test, health checks, awarding certificates, giving souvenirs, a group photo session and finally closing by the MC.
The benefits of the Foster Village 3 Activity are to introduce and expand the Physiotherapy Study Program, especially the Diploma Three Physiotherapy Program of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, as a forum for health promotion and to provide education to the elderly regarding the Prevention of Complications Due to Diabetes, Gout, Cholesterol and Hypertension. The end of the 2025 3-Year Foster Village activity will be published on the social media of the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
