Selamat Kepada Mahasiswi Prodi S1 Gizi Meraih Silver Medal dalam perlombaan World Science, Environment, and Engineering Competition (WSEEC) 2023

FIKES UPNVJ - On August 4, 2023, one of the student teams of the Nutrition Study Program Undergraduate Program of the Faculty of Health Sciences, National Development University "Veteran" Jakarta, consisting of Carissa Wira Amadea, Yusrika Shofi Ambarwati, Nisa Kamila, and Rakhma Fatika with supervisor Nanang Nasrulloh, STP., M .Sc., won a Silver Medal in the 2023 World Science, Environment, and Engineering Competition (WSEEC) in the Life Sciences category with an innovation entitled "Yacone: A Jelly Candy with Low Glycemic Index with Multivitamins from Yacon Tuber and Purslane Leaves Aiming to Combat Rising Childhood Diabetes Cases".

This competition was organized by the Indonesian Young Scientist Association (IYSA) in collaboration with Pancasila University and IPB University on August 1-4 2023. This activity was attended by 237 teams from 17 countries. Covering Indonesia, South Korea, Romania, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Kazakhstan, USA, Puerto Rico, Philippines, South Africa, Italy, Iran, Turkey, Bulgaria, Singapore and Azerbaijan.
