
FIKES UPNVJ – A series of community physiotherapy clinical practice events were held on Thursday, August 28, 2025, organized by Hendharta Yusra, Sari Angelina Sinaga, Marsanda Puspa Hanifah, Siti Jasmine Rosyyida, and Adinda Tasya Maharani, Physiotherapy Diploma Three students from the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN “Veteran” Jakarta. The event was held offline at Rumah Ceria by POTADS. The theme was "YUPI MANTRA: Young & Upbeat Interactive Activity Program Using the Anak Nusantara Method."
This activity is a community physiotherapy clinical practice program aimed at stimulating the cognitive and motor skills of children with Down Syndrome. The activity was carried out as a form of community service.
On Thursday, August 28, 2025, the activity took place offline at Rumah Ceria by POTADS. The event began at 8:00 a.m. WIB. Three offline participants from Rumah Ceria by POTADS attended. This activity was moderated by Hendharta Yusra, Sari Angelina Sinaga, Marsanda Puspa Hanifah, Siti Jasmine Rosyyida, and Adinda Tasya Maharani, all active Physiotherapy students in the Diploma Three Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, Class of 2023. The event began with an opening by the MC, followed by group singing, flower coloring, corn mosaics, plant boxes, fruit picking, orange peeling, and a group photo session.
The benefits of the community physiotherapy clinical practice program, as a concrete form of community service, are to introduce and broaden the public's understanding of the role of physiotherapy, while also serving as a health promotion tool for parents and children with special needs, particularly those involved in POTADS. Through this activity, participants gained an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of physiotherapy in supporting child growth and development, stimulating cognitive and motor skills, and incorporating social aspects through group activities with children with Down Syndrome.
In closing, the documentation and series of community physiotherapy clinical practice activities with the theme "YUPI MANTRA: Young & Upbeat Interactive Activity Program Using the Anak Nusantara Method" will be published through social media to inspire and educate the wider community.
