FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Students Undergo Community Service with Collaboration Between Study Programs at MIS Raudhatul Muta Alimin: Healthy Safari

FIKES UPNVJ - Students of the Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) UPN “Veteran” Jakarta group 6A held a collaborative activity between study programs in the form of community service themed “Healthy Safari: Nutrition, Cleanliness, and Body Posture Education” at MIS Raudhatul Muta’alimin, Limo, Depok. This activity aims to increase children’s awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle through nutrition, cleanliness, and body posture education, as well as basic health checks. The event started at 08.00 WIB with an opening by the MC, Raihan Hanif, who delivered the program schedule and raised the spirits of the children and teachers.

FIKES UPN "Veteran" Jakarta Students Hold Community Service Activities at MIS Raudhatul Muta'alimin, Limo, Depok, with the theme "Healthy Safari"
The first speech was given by the Chief Executive, Nadia Fahira who explained the purpose of the activity and provided motivation to the students of MIS Raudhatul Muta’alimin. The next speech was delivered by the supervising lecturer, Apt. Riswandi Wasir, M.P.H., PhD. "I hope that all of you can take the knowledge provided by the students of UPN "Veteran" Jakarta so that we can create a good generation of the nation's children," he said.
The principal of MIS Raudhatul Muta'alimin, Mrs. Halimah, also gave a speech. She expressed her gratitude for the implementation of this activity and hoped that the children would gain useful knowledge.
Morning Exercise and Interactive Education
The activity began with morning exercise together to refresh the body and increase the children's enthusiasm before receiving educational materials. The children looked enthusiastic and happy to follow the exercise guided by the student team.
The educational session began with counseling on Balanced Nutrition led by Maila and Adila. This material was delivered interactively so that the children better understand the importance of good nutritional intake for the body.
After the first counseling, the activity continued with an ice breaking session in the form of fun games to refresh the children's minds before continuing with the next material.
Education on Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) and Body Posture was the next agenda. This material was presented by Annisa, with the aim of building children's awareness of the importance of maintaining cleanliness and good posture.
Health Check and Closing
After the education session, students carried out a basic health check that included measuring height and weight. This activity helps monitor the health conditions of children.
The event ended with the presentation of souvenirs in the form of certificates to the school by the Chief Executive and Supervising Lecturer. The atmosphere of familiarity was increasingly felt with a group photo session as the closing of the activity.
"We hope that this activity will provide real benefits for children and teachers. By paying attention to nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and caring for the environment from an early age, children will grow into a healthy generation that cares about their future," said Apt. Riswandi Wasir, M.P.H., PhD.
