
FIKES UPNVJ - Jakarta, September 16, 2025 — The Physiotherapy Study Program, Diploma Three, at the Veteran National Development University (UPNVJ), held an academic event titled "Review of the Curriculum for Physiotherapy Programs (Diploma)." The event featured Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Wan Ismahanisa Ismail, a physiotherapy education expert with an international track record in curriculum development and physiotherapy practice.
This event marked an important step for the UPNVJ Physiotherapy Diploma Three Program to strengthen the quality of its curriculum and ensure its relevance to scientific developments, healthcare needs, and the demands of a dynamic workplace. Through a presentation, Dr. Wan Ismahanisa highlighted the need to develop a curriculum that not only emphasizes clinical skills but also addresses research capabilities, professional communication, and the use of the latest technology in healthcare.
He stated, "Curriculum evaluation is an ongoing process that must anticipate changes in healthcare. Future physiotherapists must be able to adapt to new technologies, implement evidence-based practices, and maintain high professional values."
