Public Health Study Program Management Review Meeting for the Undergraduate Program, September 2025 Period

FIKES UPNVJ - On Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 9:00 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB), the Management Review Meeting (RTM) of the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program was held offline in the FIKES Meeting Room of the "Veteran" National Development University Jakarta (UPNVJ). The meeting was chaired by Dr. Chandrayani Simanjorang, S.K.M., M.Epid., as the Coordinator of the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program, and attended by the Head of the Department and lecturers of the Undergraduate Public Health Study Program.

The meeting opened with an opening presentation by Dr. Hj. Een Kurnaesih, S.K.M., M.Kes., Head of the Undergraduate Public Health Laboratory, who presented the implementation of laboratory policies, including the preparation of facilities with equipment to support research and community service. Procedures for use were also explained, such as registration through the campus administration system, approval for equipment loans by the lecturer, Occupational Safety and Health (K3) briefings before practicums, logbook recording during activities, and post-use evaluations, including cleaning and return of equipment.

Next, Dr. Sri Yani, SST.FT., Ftr., MSi., as the Head of the GFKM Department, provided remarks and guidance related to administration and governance, covering the responsibilities of the SKP and BKD, research and community service (PKM), and teaching. She also provided guidance on the formation of expert-based research teams with senior-junior collaboration, urged lecturers to proactively conduct early evaluations of BKD compliance, explained the delay in inputting Public Health Lecturer mentoring data into PDDIKTI, and the importance of open communication for consultation. The discussion session with lecturers yielded responses to questions regarding clarification of the attendance system, the use of dean's assignment letters for independent community service providers as evidence of BKD, and a follow-up on the limited lecturer room facilities, which will be addressed.

The agenda continued with a presentation from Dr. Lusyta Puri Ardhiyanti, S.ST., M.Kes., the Head of GKM, regarding guidelines for compiling exam questions based on RPS and CPMK, as well as the timeline for submission and revision. It was also stated that the review team was formed based on expertise in accordance with the study program's proposal, taking into account applicable requirements and provisions.

The Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Chandrayani Simanjorang, S.K.M., M.Epid, then presented the progress of achieving the cascading PK/IKU (Comprehensive Research Methodology) as the main agenda of the RTM. She expressed her appreciation and gratitude for the contributions made by lecturers towards several targets already achieved, such as SINTA outputs, grant outputs, and several other strategic objectives. She also outlined the study program's plan to conduct a curriculum review to follow up on recommendations from ASIIN international accreditation and the need to make adjustments based on stakeholder input and the national curriculum.

The agenda continued with a discussion of the progress of thesis supervision. Each supervisor provided information regarding the students' progress. Although some students faced obstacles, such as uncertain research locations or challenges with revisions, overall, many students were deemed promising and optimistic about proceeding to the proposal seminar stage.

Through this RTM, the Public Health Study Program of the Undergraduate Program of the National Development University “Veteran” Jakarta (UPNVJ) hopes that all the provisions discussed can be useful information and can be followed up.
