FIKES UPNVJ – The Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program, Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, held a series of events for the "8th Foster Village" program on Sunday, October 5, 2025. The event was held offline at RW.08, Bedahan Village, Sawangan District, with the theme "Fit Pregnancy with Physiotherapy."
The 2025 "8th Foster Village" program is a work program organized by the Department of Social Affairs and Community Services, aimed at improving community health and mobility through empowerment. The program took the form of outreach and community service.
On Sunday, October 5, 2025, the event took place offline at RW.08, Bedahan Village, Sawangan District. The event began at 1:00 PM and ended at 3:05 PM WIB. Forty participants from RW.08, Bedahan Village, Sawangan District, attended. The event was hosted by Destin Aprilia and Bunga Syawalia Fadia, both active Physiotherapy students from the Diploma Three Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, from the 2024 and 2025 classes. The event began with an opening by the MC, followed by remarks by the Chairperson of the Committee, and remarks by the Vice Chair of the Indonesian Institute of Health Sciences (HIMFIS). This was followed by a pre-test, presentation of material, an icebreaker, post-test, certificate presentation, a group photo session, and a closing ceremony by the MC.
The purpose of the 8th Fostered Village activity is to introduce and expand the Physiotherapy Study Program, specifically the Diploma Three Physiotherapy Program at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta, as an educational platform to support healthy pregnancies through safe and targeted physiotherapy exercises. The conclusion of the 2025 Fostered Village activity will be publicized on the social media platforms of the Physiotherapy Student Association of the Diploma Three Program at the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta.
