Visit of Public Health Masters Program Students to the Health Development Policy Agency of the Ministry of Health

FIKES UPNVJ - Students of the Master of Public Health (S2) Program in the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Jakarta (PSKMPM FIKES UPNVJ) conducted an academic visit to the Health Development Policy Agency (BKPK) of the Indonesian Ministry of Health on Monday, September 22, 2025. This visit was designed to broaden their knowledge and deepen their understanding of Health Technology Assessment (HTA) as a crucial instrument in developing evidence-based health policies.

The event was officially opened by Lupi Trilaksono, SF., MM., Apt., Head of the Center for Health Resource System Policy at the BKPK, Ministry of Health. In his remarks, he emphasized the strategic role of HTA in supporting effective, efficient, and equitable health decision-making. The visit included presentations and interactive discussions with BKPK speakers, who provided a comprehensive overview of the concept, implementation, and challenges of HTA implementation in Indonesia. The students were also accompanied by their supervisor, Prof. A. Heri Iswanto, who provided academic guidance to ensure the smooth running of the event. This visit is expected to foster stronger synergy between educational institutions and government agencies in improving the quality of education and supporting national health development.
