To achieve Scopus indexing, maintaining consistent publication is key for every journal manager within the Faculty of Health Sciences, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. The Scopus selection process involves two stages: technical screening and CSAB.
Checklist requirements must be met, including having a clear identity consistent with the scope, an international editorial board, regular publication, English-language abstracts, publication ethics, copyright, and transparency in author guidelines. Failures are typically caused by low article quality, the absence of international editorial staff, an outdated website, excessive self-citation, and inconsistent publication.
Scopus also conducts post-indexing monitoring of journals. Journals that are inconsistent or violate ethics can be withdrawn even if they are indexed. Therefore, maintaining content quality, publishing consistency, transparency, and website updates is essential.
By following these guidelines, it is hoped that journals within the Faculty of Health Sciences at UPN "Veteran" Jakarta will have a greater chance of being indexed by Scopus and contributing to the development of global health science.
