FIKES UPNVJ - The New Student Orientation (PKKMB) for Public Health Department was successfully conducted on Thursday, August 14, 2025 at 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM WIB which is located at BBPPMPV Bisnis & Pariwisata. This event served to introduce the Bachelor of Public Health Study Program at UPN “Veteran” Jakarta, establish connections between new students and lecturers, prepare students for academic adaptation, develop character and national defense mindset, as well as foster organizational interests within the campus environment.
The event was hosted by Masters of Ceremony Pramitha Dewia Maharany and Tania Pisarani Putri, active students of the Public Health Bachelor Program class of 2024. The program commenced with participant registration, pre-test administration, followed by lunch and prayer break (ishoma). The opening session featured remarks from Fabian Wahyu Aji as Committee Chair, Muhammad Hafizh Azzuraiqi as Chair of HMKM UPNVJ for 2025/2026 period, Dr. Chandrayani Simanjorang, S.K.M., M.Epid. as Coordinator of Public Health Bachelor Program, and concluded with an address from Dr. Sri Yani, SST.FT, Ftr, M.Si. as Head of Public Health Department.
The main program began with MC Alya Tsabitahhaq Putri Aditya, a 2024 Public Health student, introducing the moderator's profile, followed by the first speaker's introduction and presentation by Dr. Chandrayani Simanjorang including Q&A session. After an ice-breaking session, the second presentation was delivered by Muhammad Hafizh Azzuraiqi with subsequent discussion. The event continued with plaque presentation to speakers by the Committee Chair, announcement of best questioners, and assignment distribution for new students. Prior to closing, musical performances were presented by Joyvela Jethro Anabel and Gabriela Dwi Kartika Sari, followed by documentation session, closing remarks by MCs, and post-test administration with participant evaluation.
