FIKES UPNVJ - Jakarta, Saturday, September 20, 2025, the Nursing Study Program at the Diploma Three Program at the Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta successfully held its 2025 Student Leadership Basic Training (LDKM) offline on Saturday and Sunday, September 20–21, 2025. All new D3 Nursing students from the class of 2025 participated in the event, which was enthusiastically attended and held in a familial atmosphere.
The event began with registration and a participant attribute check at 7:00 a.m. WIB. The morning atmosphere became even more solemn as all participants took part in a morning assembly, marked by the singing of Indonesia Raya and the National Defense March. The event continued with remarks from the Chairperson of the Committee, delivered by Ahmad Muhaimin; the Chairperson of Himadika, delivered by Saidah Alawiyah; and the Head of the D3 Nursing Study Program, delivered by Ns. Diah Tika Anggraeni S.Kep., M.Kep., and Agustiyawan SST., FT., MFIS., FTR., AIFO, as Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Cooperation.
A significant moment on the first day was the symbolic handover of name tags to new students, marking the beginning of their journey as part of the UPNVJ Nursing family. The series of academic activities then continued with the main event, which included the reading of CVs and introductions by the first speaker, Summiyati Amd. Kep., and the presentation of topic 1, entitled "Leadership & Problem Solving." This was followed by a question and answer session with the speakers. The next event was the presentation of topic 2, entitled "LDKM & Organization" by Zahira Chairunisa. This was followed by a question and answer session with Zahira, followed by a presentation on "Procedures for Making PPT & Papers" by Saidah Alawiyah. This was followed by a question and answer session with Saidah. The fourth topic was delivered by Anida Safitri, entitled "Introduction to HIMADIKA."
Afterward, participants were given a short break for lunch and Dzuhur prayer. The first day concluded with a group photo, leaving a sense of togetherness and a spirit of brotherhood among the participants.
This year's LDKM carried the theme "Sharpening Humanistic, Intelligent, and Resilient Leadership Towards Professional Nursing," in line with the vision of producing healthcare workers who are not only academically competent but also possess leadership, integrity, and social sensitivity.
Toward the end of the afternoon, the event took on a reflective tone through a meditation/reflection session, which provided space for students to reflect on leadership values, responsibility, and the meaning of being a future professional nurse. The second day's activities culminated in group cheer performances, evaluations, and the delivery of messages by participants. The event officially concluded with a group photo session, capturing the precious moments of this meaningful two-day journey.
