FIKES UPNVJ - Jakarta (September 12, 2025) The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIKES) of UPN Veteran Jakarta held an Exam Question Review Coordination Meeting attended by 63 lecturers. The meeting, chaired by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Rita Ismail, S.Kp., M.K.M., MTD(HE)., Ph.D., was held online via Zoom.
This coordination meeting discussed the implementation of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Question Review, as stipulated in Regulation No. 71 of 2025, which emphasizes a tiered question review process, starting with the lecturer who prepares the questions, through the review team, and up to the study program coordinator. Each stage is accompanied by minutes, receipts, and documentation to ensure quality. Questions that pass the review are added to the question bank, while those that do not meet the requirements are returned for revision.
In a report submitted by the Head of GKM, Dr. Lusyta Puri Ardhiyanti, S.St., M.Kes., there are eleven main aspects of question assessment, including:
- Availability of the RPS (Lesson Plan) and assessment rubric
- Suitability of questions to the CPMK (Competency Standards) and RPS
- Appropriateness of difficulty level and time allocation
- Relevance of questions to real-world conditions
- Accuracy of language, both in Indonesian and English
- Compliance with faculty and study program guidelines
Vice Dean I, Rita Ismail, S.Kp., M.K.M., MTD(HE)., Ph.D., emphasized that questions should be prepared in a paperless format, with submissions due one week prior to the mid-term or final exam. Several lecturers also raised questions and provided input, including those regarding the efficiency of the review format, question weighting, reviewer involvement, and the rubric/blueprint-based question review mechanism. The discussion yielded several important inputs regarding the standard number of questions, question types (vignette, case study, MCQ), and integration with the online learning system [MA].
Through this coordination, the Faculty of Health Sciences at UPN Veteran Jakarta affirms its commitment to improving the quality of exam questions as part of its efforts to ensure the quality of learning. The results of the coordination will be immediately followed up by each study program and monitored periodically to ensure the continuity of the question review process within the faculty.
