FIKES UPNVJ - On Saturday, November 30, 2024, a Matra Health Public Lecture was held with the theme of Implementing Health Management During the Homecoming Flow. This activity was carried out in a hybrid manner via Zoom Meeting and offline at the Merce Building, 8th floor, UPN "Veteran" Jakarta. The number of participants who registered were students from 25 universities in Indonesia, participants from UPN Veteran Jakarta as many as 199 students and participants from outside 176 students. This Matra Health Public Lecture activity is an activity that aims to provide comprehensive education and understanding to students and the general public regarding the importance of maintaining safety and health during the homecoming flow. The homecoming flow is a period with a very high level of mobility, where many people travel long distances to return to their hometowns. This condition is often accompanied by various challenges, to traffic, and the potential for increased accidents due to negligence or less than optimal physical conditions.
Through this public lecture, it is hoped that participants can understand the risks that may be faced during the trip, such as health problems due to lack of rest, dehydration or mental stress due to stress on the trip. In addition, participants will also be given insight into the importance of preparing themselves before traveling, including vehicle inspections, ensuring prime physical condition, and implementing safe and responsible driving behavior.
With this education, it is hoped that all participants can increase their awareness of their vigilance during the homecoming trip, so that they can minimize the risk of accidents and maintain their health during the trip. This not only has an impact on personal safety, but also contributes to creating a safer and more comfortable travel environment for all road users.
The event began with filling out participant registration on the link provided by the committee via the zoom meeting chat and the registration form followed by filling out the pre-test and initial attendance. First, the event was opened by the MC from the Matra Health Public Lecture activity. Then the reading of the rules and rundown of the event and the playing of the song Indonesia Raya and the National Defense March. Continued with a group photo session and remarks from the Chairperson of the Matra Health Public Lecture, Head of the Diploma Three Program Equivalency Study Program, and the Deputy Dean for Student Affairs, Cooperation and Alumni.
After the welcoming remarks, the event continued with the reading of the moderator's CV guided by the MC. Continued by the reading of the CV of speaker 1 by the moderator and continued with the presentation of the material by speaker 1, then continued with the reading of the CV of speaker 2 by the moderator and continued with the presentation of the material by speaker 2. Continued with a question and answer session by speakers 1 and 2 guided by the moderator.
